Tiarnie is the muse for Kalai’s Love Shack Music Club collection of organic cotton, handloomed throws. We created the range with the carefree summer vibes of a music festival in mind, with Tiarnie as our headline act.
Hailing from rural Wallaroo, on the outskirts Canberra, Tiarnie is rocking the Sydney music scene with her raw honest lyrics set against catchy rock riffs and punchy percussive beats. Multi-talented Tiarne is an up-and-coming singer, songwriter, guitarist and, most importantly, storyteller.
Her unapologetically honest lyrics evoke the emotions of a twentysomething navigating life, love and ambition in a contemporary world. And her lyrical vulnerability is equally matched by a fierce vocal tone, captivating melodies and intricate guitar riffs.
The singer-songwriter’s debut EP Consistently Inconsistent documents the beautiful and messy moments we all experience in our early twenties; heartbreak, unrequited love, homesickness, struggles with mental health, complex relationships, societal pressure, and aching for human connection.
Recently, COVID-19 had Tiarnie “feeling helpless and really longing for the connection that comes from pouring my heart out to a room full of friends and strangers”. As a result, she had the idea of pulling together a “creative project that would help people feel connected and bring us together”.
Her track, “Maybe Tomorrow”, made perfect audio backdrop, given the song’s focus on overcoming mental health issues. The result is a fun and heartwarming fan-made music video for “Maybe Tomorrow” – do yourself and favour and check it out above. Consistently Inconsistent is available now on all major streaming platforms.
